There are certain dangers within the realm of weight loss. Many individuals think that starving themselves is the quickest way to lose weight. The Diet

The Zone diet focuses on three main overall aspects that cover both good health and weight loss simultaneously. The first focus is fats. The good fat is monounsaturated fat and Omega concentrates, such as that found in pure olive oil. This diet focuses on eating only foods with the good fats.

The next focus of the Zone diet is Carbs. The aspect of Carbohydrates that is pointed out is that of the effect upon the level of insulin in the dieter’s body. The plan urges the individual to eat grains, pasta, vegetables and fruits as these do not tend to dramatically raise the insulin levels.

Lastly, the Zone diet places great importance upon the intake of a good amount of protein at every meal. This works well for the individual in question as he or she gets to eat lots of meat products and low-fat dairy foods.
