Mesothelioma is treated by surgery, radiation and usage of anti cancer drugs depending on the extent of involvement and patient’s general condition.
Like many cancers prognosis of mesothelioma depends on the time of diagnosis and aggressive treatment. Unfortunately most of the cases are diagnosed in late stages contributing to the poor prognosis.
